Default Ovation Celebrity LCS 247

I've got a line on a left handed version of the above guitar, want to know your thoughts of what an in very good condition used one should go for.

Thanks in advance.

Hold it, hold it, hold it. First, you have to be left handed in order to be qualified to answer this question. I'm a rightie so I'll just sit here quietly.

Well then maybe you can comment on the CS 247 model.

OK, I'm not familiar with that model because when I was guitar teching, I didn't bother to look inside at the paper labels but I did notice that all of the Ovations were really nice guitars. My only gripe was that they would slide out of your lap unless you had a strap on them. I'm going to assume the instrument is in good shape and a decent price for any used instrument is about 1/2 of retail. Then you have to assume the first guy got a deal on it and you need to whittle a little more off the price.

Right now we are at $200 with a nicer gig bag. Still have to play and listen to her but I'm good with the price and reviews I've found so far. Thanks for the help, coming from a person it solidifies the quality of the guitar. I'm finding ones online that look the same in the high $400's and mid $500's new. Found one used for $249 with no case. So I think I'm OK on price if everything else checks out.

Feel free to tell me better deals can be gotten. Lefties are hard to come by.

I used to think Ovations weren't that good until I went into a pawn shop and played an old used one. It changed my mind. I was impressed.
