I was going to say that the numbers get in my way when I use old credit cards to punch a few, I really never thought to punch them so the numbers were under my thumb. I didn't like the grating feel of the numbers on the strings. That's why mine has been stored for a few years.

My wife got me one of those a few years ago for Christmas. Fun gizmo, it works well, but I agree - credit cards are too thick. I happen to prefer thin picks (Clayton 38mm Acetal), it's been hard to find just the right stuff to punch out.

I had an old library card that worked well, but hey, that made what - three picks? LoL!
