Default Post your gear here

What kind of guitar forum would this be if it didn't have a "post your gear" type of thread. So, feel free to list all your gear here. Pictures and soundclips are quite welcome. Got a new piece of gear, but already posted a list? Either edit your old post to add the new stuff, or feel free to start a completely new post... it's up to you.

Along with the list of gear, why not give a description of how you use your gear, and what styles you use it for.

here's my stuff:
Guitars:
1975 Fender Tele- my baby
1984 Fender Strat- sweet
1996 MiM Strat
2004 (or 06) MiM Strat- did a review of it in "that other forum"
i90 Brian Moore
Ibanez RG-320
Jackson Dinky MG GT (something like that)
Epiphone SG Deluxe (really my son's, but he's lost interest)
Ovation electric/acoustic- low end, but sounds ok
NY Pro acoustic- really my daughter's, but she lost interest. Good, cheap backup acoustic
Yamaha acoustic- dunno model, but I've had it over 20 yrs.

The electric guitars below the '84 Strat I got off Ebay, and they came mint, and each cost less than $400. I got a Coffin Case with the Dinky which goes for over a $100 alone. The Ibanez I got for about $140. It feels more comfortable than the $1700 Steve Vai model I tried. I'm not a shredder, but the neck is soooo fast.

Amps
1975ish Fender Champ
Peavey Envoy- emulates a tube pretty well, and at 40 watts, it is LOUD
little Marshall practice amp, the kind you can clip to your belt
Roland Micro Cube- cool amp that can run on batteries, and at 2 watts it's loud enough to play on the streets with a band.

Pedals
Boss noise gate
Ibanez Tube Screamer
Behringer pedals:
T0-800 overdrive pedal - sounds really good for a cheapie
strobe chromatic tuner
reverb pedal
Digitech distortion pedal
Digitech Death Metal distortion
Boss compression/sustainer
Crybaby Wah

Misc. instruments
Bundy alto sax
Bundy flute- no, not a Bundy; can't remember make
Cheap Yamaha electric keyboard

I like D'Addario strings. 12s on 2 Strats, 10s on all my other guitars except the Ibanez which has 9s. I like the color coded ends because I've screwed up stringing my Tele and Strat more times than I can count

prefer Fender teardrop jazz picks, medium

Just got a Toneport as an interface to record to my computer. Did my first solo for the June backing track on the other side of the fence. If you wanna puke head over their and have a listen. I'm not a metal-head, but it's my attempt at metal. I don't know how they rate tunes on Soundclick, but one of my attempts charted #29 in heavey metal, while my final submission didn't rank at all. Oh, I just checked, and my final is up to #113, lol. It really is dreck- here's the link:
SoundClick artist: Silimtao - page with MP3 music downloads

How do I use all this stuff? Well, been on a long layoff from playing- something like...close to 20 yrs. THE WIFE DIDN'T APPROVE. Wasn't just her. I went to the Berklee College of Music for awhile, and they ruined my playing. Tried to make a jazz player out of me. So I'm just practicing, studying theory, jamming alone, trying to get my son interested again in playing. Haven't played the sax in years. Never enough time to play as much as I'd like. Getting my pedals to get the sound I want is a major pain in the ass. Soon as I switch guitars, it's a half hr. of tweaking, so I mostly just play clean through the Peavey.
