Default Guitar Identification Thread

Hi there, guitar gurus.

Sad news! It turns out that my dream of becoming a big time metal star was never to be realised. Now I am moving on, and have decided that my guitar needs a new home. But before I can sell it, I need to acquire some information! To my great shame, I know very little about it other than the fact that it was a gift that my dad got second-hand

If any one can help identify the make, or model, or anything at all about it, help would be appreciated. Likewise, if you want me to check for any wording or symbols on the guitar to help the identifying process, I'll be happy to oblige!

Picture of the headstock and the metal plate (if there is one) on the back?

Ya the les Paul shape has probably been used by every guitar company in business, other then maybe fender Lol.

Need pics of the headstock, neck plate, and any markings you can find would help.

Camera is kinda playing up at the moment, but I managed to get this shot;

"J&D Brothers"

It also says the same thing on the metal plate on the back of the body. Other than that, I can't find any discernible markings.

Wow, thanks! That's exactly it! Rock on, brother.

Now I can give it a clean and get it sold.

Cheers!

Hi,

I found this guitar in my mums attic and I am clueless to what make it is and if it is worth anything? It looks quite old and good quality (possibly hand made).

any help identifying the make would be very much appreciated. The guitar was found in Bristol in England so could well of been purchased or made here? The only marking on it is the pearl 'm' on the head-stock there is nothing on the back or in the rear compartment...

thanks

Guy

Default Guitar identification; driving me mad!

The guitar the lead guy is playing, I'm pretty sure it's a kay or equivalent due to its resonance, but that may be the mics playing tricks on me. What do you guys think?
