True or bullshit??
Pretty much true. Locrian is thought of a "theoretical jazz" scale in some parts, but jazzers somehow make it work.

You've seen the scale before. Forget where the red dot is designating the root, and start on the 2nd note, the Bb. Play the scale from the 2nd note on. It's the Bb major scale.

Yeah, this is pretty accurate. My guitar teacher says that most people avoid it, and for very good reasons too. Honestly it just doesnt sound that good, if you seriously play FULL locrian. He does like some really far out scales so coming from him I take his word for it.

Jazz scale eh? I hate jazz. I'll see what it sounds like, I don't want to make an odd sounding noodle-fest track though.

Eh, a scale is a scale. We're just so used to major/minor that's more popular.

Right but the scales used in Jazz music sound dreadful to me, even if Jazz is popular, bleh.

Eh, I'm just really tired of the old major/minor stuff. Even though it's at the heart of the classic rock I enjoy listening to.

Maybe I'll look for an old 3 chord minor blues to jam too, just to kinda get back to my roots.

As screetchy as this is it comes out almost like the melody of a song.

I get that... I'm stuck too, sick of the regular but don't like anything else. Time to take up knitting!
