Default Any Animals as Leaders fans?

Any AAL fans here? I honestly can't remember how I found out about them, but they're easily among my top 5 favorite bands. They have an album coming out in less than a month and I'm way too excited.

I listen to them once in a while. It is amazing listening to them! But the complicacy turns not being fun anymore. It is just too technical.

I have been wondering... so when they play live, they don't use a bass player?

I give them credit for being talented players, but at the end of the day, what makes a great musician for me is how they apply their abilities through the composition of songs. No need for a geometry lesson.

The band is two 8 strings and a drummer, and both of the 8 strings (to my knowledge) are tuned EBEADGBE, so they cover the bass on their own.
