I know this young man personally, and he really is a hot player as well a very sweet and kind gentleman. Notice the right hand action

I've been on a Brazillian and Samba kick lately. Using the proper instrument too, a classical nylon string.

I'm working on "one note Samba" right now and it's gonna kill me or break my fingers first. I've got "Girl from Ipanema" down and pretty much always have, but never strung it together correctly.

The older I get, the more difficult I approach..

Doing some clean-up in my storage I stepped over my box of Blues-CD's so this weekend was rather bluesy. I love Bettye LaVettes ''her point of vue''-version of Robert Crays ''Right next door'', then Charlie Musselwhite or Hans Theessink....

You expect some quirky novelty song but it's actually a great tune!

It is! And it speaks to me on a personal level too. I've had a couple of those POS's.

This artist is from Spain, and he is an amazing player. I love his rendition of the old classic by the Platters, "Only You". You would think this old classic would be a tough one to lay down some modern progressive rock licks, but he pulls it off beautifully. All of his songs are worth a listen.

He starts this one out slow and slowly builds it to the point where I said "damn", this guy is frkn great.
