Default One Control purple plexefier distortion vs WAmpler pinnacle v1

Hello, I need some help, I'm contemplating between buying a wampler pinnacle v1 and buying a one control purple plexi distortion pedal, what would you recommend?

Generally speaking I think Wampler is probably the higher quality product - but also more expensive. Do you have any hope of trying them both side by side with your own guitar and amp?

Just a sanity check... You're considering spending 15% of the price of a real Plexi on a Plexi-esque distortion pedal.

What's your budget?. If it were me, I would go with the Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe.

Reality check: not everyone can afford the other 85%, or, they want the effect only sometimes, among many other possibilities. I have over 15 pedals probably worth 2 grand or more. I usually use 3 most of the time.

Exactly the situation that the OP might want to consider avoiding.

;-)

For the poor, there's Ceriatone. For the tinker-inclined, there's MainStage.
