Sanctum7 Just getting started
Default Multi FX modelers

Trying to decide between the Anderton "Headrush", the Fractal FX8 and the Helix LT.
Sound is very important, of course, as I will use it to record primarily. But I am EXTREMELY impatient with overly complicated guitar devices. User friendly (fast to get up & running) is a must. Any advice from all of the gear gurus out there?

If you are "extremely impatient" I suspect you'll be frustrated with any of them.

A Kompiler Profiler is awesome if money is not an issue.

I think the Headrush looks like about as user-friendly a Multi-FX unit as you're gonna run into with that kind of horsepower under the hood. For what it can do it seems pretty damn easy to grapple with.
