NGD

This just came in. The strings are actually rusty! :) I'll be changing the strings and setting up the wooden bridge correctly but I thought I'd throw up a picture with my white on white knobs and a pickguard with white construction paper behind the transparent pickguard that has a slight tint to it.

You can get white plastic pickguards for the U2 but they are after-party pickguards and don't have the "D" or any other markings on them. That's why I went with the white paper approach. I may order one however just to try it out.

Nice !

Don't change the strings if you want that vintage sound!

The giant headstock reminds me of a cute woman with giant feet. Possible deal breaker.

If you paid less than 1000 bucks, it's obviously a pos.

"Giant headstock" ... this coming from Mr. Strat! :)

I paid $15,000 so it's obviously got tone. The tweed gig bag even has tone.

I like it. I wonder what those lipstick pickups sound like.

It has that nice retro look. Hope it plays and sounds great.

Nice! I tried a Danelectro baritone and I liked it, but didn't have the money back then. I tried an HS and liked it too.

I get it now. That's not a giant headstock. You turn it around, and you have an uke.

With all white knobs, how will you know what does what? You just don't think things out.
